NERF
NERF in a nutshell
Science director: Sebastian Haesler
NERF research focuses on how neuronal circuits are built, their role in executing essential cognitive functions such as perception, memory, thought, and behavior, as well as understanding the implications of their dysfunction in disease. Continually pushing the boundaries of what we can measure in the brain, our interdisciplinary team of biologists, engineers, physicists, and bioinformaticians strives to overcome technical hurdles. Through our collective expertise, we develop new approaches, ranging from cutting-edge imaging techniques and advanced recording devices to refined behavioral assays, accelerating the field of neuroscience.
