Neuromics Support Facility (NSF) is a competence center providing support, services and training in the fields of genetics, genomics, transcriptomics, bioinformatics, histology and cellular imaging. Our vision is to maintain state-of- the-art, reliable, efficient and flexible support to the main research activities of the VIB-UAntwerp Center for Molecular Neurology and wider.

Research focus

Neuromics Support Facility (NSF) is a competence centre providing services, support and training in the fields of genetics, genomics, transcriptomics, bioinformatics, histology and cellular imaging. Our vision is to maintain state-of-the-art; reliable, efficient and flexible support to the main research activities of the CMN and collaborators. The innovative strategy of integrating technological support and know-how into one unit is to optimize and synchronize the overall performance of the CMN. 

Main objective of NSF is to provide a coherent and integrated support to research within CMN with surplus offered to collaborators. Our focus includes executing research projects, evaluation of the novel scientific and commercial tools and technologies, consultations, user trainings, experiment design support and scientific reporting in all areas of our proficiency.
