VIB Technologies consists of the Core Facilities, Spatial Catalyst, and Technology Training. Technology access is enabled by our Tech Watch Core, who support the entire technology uptake flow, starting with mediating early access to cutting-edge technologies. Validated technologies are implemented within VIB Core Facilities, that facilitate access to top-notch technologies and offer all-in services, provided by skilled expert technologists. Our Cores continue to improve implemented technologies, developing new approaches through collaborations and increasing sample throughput via automation.

Next to services, consultancy, and support, the VIB Technologies team also shares its expertise and knowledge through VIB Technology Training.

All VIB Technologies units are managed by a Head of Core and supported by the Tech Support Hub. Geert Van Minnebruggen, is Technology Director, and Saskia Lippens, the Technology Deputy Director.
