Ekoli is an organization in Ghent that helps build the future of vulnerable children and youth with tailored science workshops. This year, they organized the third edition of their Questival, a science festival where children and their families could participate in workshops and build bridges with other scientists-to-be.

More than 600 kids and youth from the Rabotwijk in Ghent and beyond had the chance to enjoy interactive booths, experiments, escape rooms, and meet role models at this completely free, inclusive science festival.

VIB supports Ekoli and was present at the festival with an interactive stand.

“It is thanks to the commitment and contagious energy of all our volunteers and partners that we are able to create that unique atmosphere at Questival time and time again: a place where everyone feels welcome, where partners and volunteers are inspiring role models for underrepresented children and young people, and where young and old can dive into the world of science with fun and curiosity!” - Ekoli vzw
